Cancel Panda Dome and Request the Right Refund
Do not start by uninstalling the antivirus or calling the first number in Google. Find who issued the receipt, stop that seller's next renewal, then request a refund for the existing charge as a separate action.

Quick answer: for an eligible direct online purchase, sign in at My Panda, open Products and Services, choose the product, click Manage product and use Cancel subscription. Save the confirmation email. That stops a future renewal but does not refund a posted charge, so submit a separate Customer Service refund request if the direct purchase is within Panda's applicable return terms. If Apple, Google Play or a retailer issued the receipt, use that seller's subscription and refund system instead. Do not uninstall until the billing record is secured.
Cancellation, refund, uninstall and account deletion are four jobs
Cancellation turns off the next recurring charge. A refund request asks the seller to reverse one transaction that already exists. A person renewed yesterday usually needs both actions, and neither confirmation should be treated as proof that the other action succeeded.
Uninstalling removes Panda from a device. It does not tell a payment system to stop billing. Deleting an account is a separate privacy or identity request and can make invoices, license details and support correspondence harder to retrieve if it is attempted before the money trail is closed.

This distinction sounds administrative until a charge appears. A user who deletes Panda first can lose the easiest route back to the order; a user who cancels but never requests a refund can correctly prevent next year while still paying for this year. Keep the sequence deliberate: evidence, seller, cancellation, refund decision, then software and account cleanup.
Before cancelling, build a one-minute order record
Save the original receipt, renewal notice and current My Panda status. Note the seller name, order or invoice reference, product, account email, purchase or renewal date, amount, currency, paid-through date, next charge and the last four card digits if they are already displayed. Redact the full card number, activation code and home address before attaching anything to support.
Open My Panda from a typed or bookmarked pandasecurity.com address. Panda's current account-management guide says Invoices and Payments can be filtered by reference, date, product or status. Take a screenshot of the matching product and subscription state before changing it.
Do this even when the goal is only to stop renewal. The receipt shows which company took payment, while the account shows which license will change. Households can have an old Panda antivirus order, a mobile purchase and a separate family product under different emails; choosing by product logo alone is an easy way to cancel the wrong term.
The company on the receipt controls the billing route
A Panda-branded app can be paid directly through Panda, through Apple's App Store, through Google Play or through a retailer or reseller. Technical support may explain the product, but it cannot always reverse money controlled by another platform. Search the inbox around the charge date and match the exact amount and currency to the receipt.
| Receipt or statement says | Where to stop renewal | Where to request the refund |
|---|---|---|
| Panda Security / direct Panda order | My Panda subscription management | Panda Customer Service or written legal-notice route |
| Apple / App Store | Apple Subscriptions | Apple Report a Problem |
| Google Play | Google Play Subscriptions | Google Play refund flow, then developer where policy directs |
| Retailer, reseller or boxed code | Seller account or stated non-recurring expiry | Original seller's return policy |
| Unknown descriptor | Identify the transaction first | Merchant and issuer after authorization check |
Do not accept a search-result article's claim that every Panda order uses Cleverbridge, Digital River, Nexway or another processor. We found no current primary evidence supporting one universal merchant for every region and channel. The live receipt is stronger than a copied list of processors, and a seller-specific route should only be used when the transaction names that seller.
Cancel an eligible direct Panda subscription in My Panda
Sign in at My Panda, open Products and Services, select the matching product and choose Manage product. Under Subscription management, use Cancel subscription and accept the confirmation prompts. Panda says an email confirms the cancellation, so keep the browser result open until the email arrives and record the product and paid-through date.
Panda's account guide is explicit about the effect: cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not refund the order. The current subscription remains active for the period already purchased. That makes “Cancel subscription” closer to “turn off auto-renewal” than “erase the license now,” despite the stronger wording on the button.
Open the account again in a fresh session and verify that the subscription no longer shows an upcoming automatic renewal. Do not rely on a single success toast or the absence of a saved card. A payment method can exist for another product, and removing a card is not the same evidence as changing the matching subscription state.
Panda can charge about one month before the license expires
Panda's automatic-renewal help says the service is enabled by default but optional. For the documented website flow, Panda says it charges the card used for purchase about one month before expiration after prior notice. The renewed service period begins when the current term ends, not on the date of that early charge.
That explains why a statement can show a renewal while the old license still has several weeks left. It does not, by itself, prove a duplicate or unauthorized purchase. Compare the renewal notice, invoice reference, previous expiry and new paid-through date; one early charge should extend the same product rather than create a second overlapping order.
If the renewal was unwanted, act when the charge appears rather than waiting for the old expiry date. Turn off the next renewal, preserve the notice and submit the charged transaction for refund review. The Panda pricing and renewal guide explains why the first-term discount and later billing amount also need to be saved before purchase.
If the button or product is missing, do not invent a cancellation route
First confirm the account email. Search all inboxes for the receipt and compare the activation-code delivery address with the login. Then inspect Products and Services plus Invoices and Payments. A family member may own the purchase while this device merely uses one seat, or an older address may hold the renewal.
Panda describes the My Panda automatic-renewal control as valid for online purchases. An App Store, Google Play, retailer, reseller, prepaid or non-recurring order may not expose the same button. If the receipt identifies another seller, move to that seller's section rather than trying random menu names copied from a PDF.
For a direct order that appears correctly but offers no cancellation control, capture the page and contact Panda through the verified support web form. Include the product, invoice reference, account email, paid-through date and the exact result requested. Do not send the full activation code or card number, and do not call a number repeated inside an unrelated search-result document.
Request a direct Panda refund as a separate action
Panda's account guide says online purchases can be requested for refund within 30 days through the Customer Service web form. Its dedicated return and termination page states a 30-day period from receipt of the product to terminate a Panda contract without giving a reason or paying a penalty. Submit as soon as the decision is made rather than treating day 30 as a target.
Use a direct subject such as “Refund request for Panda invoice [reference]” and state the purchase or renewal date, amount, currency, product and account email. Say whether auto-renewal is already off and what outcome you want for the current order. Attach a redacted receipt and cancellation confirmation; do not bury the request inside a long technical narrative.
The legal page also provides a Customer Service email for written notice and says qualifying reimbursement is made through the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Use the current contact details on the live Panda page, not a cached telephone list. Keep the automated acknowledgment and later decision because “case created” is not “refund approved.”
Panda's 30-day wording has exclusions and channel limits
The legal page says no refund is made for a support or technical-assistance product once that service has been used, regardless of elapsed time. It also states that the separately purchased Money-Back Guarantee service is non-refundable. Those exclusions are easy to miss when a product page displays a broad “30-day money-back” badge.
Do not apply Panda's direct-online wording to Apple, Google Play, a retail key or a reseller order. Those sellers can set a different process, deadline and decision standard, subject to applicable consumer law. A product registered in My Panda is not proof that Panda processed its payment.
Country and transaction details can also change the route. This page gives the current published process, not a legal opinion or guaranteed result. Preserve the checkout terms and ask the seller to identify the controlling policy in writing if the request is denied. That creates a useful record for any later issuer or consumer-protection escalation.
For an unwanted renewal, work both tracks today
First disable the next automatic renewal and verify it in the account. Then submit the renewal transaction for refund review with the renewal notice, posted date, amount, currency and invoice reference. State when you first noticed the charge and whether the renewed license has been used, but do not invent a prior cancellation or claim non-use when account records may show otherwise.
Panda's current pages clearly promise a 30-day route for online purchases, but they do not explicitly say that every renewal begins a new 30-day window. Avoid telling support that a refund is guaranteed. Ask for a written decision promptly and preserve the exact policy text visible when the request was made.
If support says the renewed service remains active during review, keep replacement protection ready but do not install a second real-time suite over Panda. If the refund is approved and the license is ended, verify which devices lose entitlement. The Panda account, activation and devices guide helps identify the seats before any removal.
Use Apple for a Panda subscription billed by Apple
If Apple issued the receipt, open Settings on the iPhone or iPad, tap the account name, choose Subscriptions, select the Panda-related subscription and tap Cancel Subscription. Apple's current cancellation guide says that no Cancel button or a red expiry message means the subscription is already cancelled. Save the paid-through date and the Apple receipt.
A refund is another request. Use Apple's Report a Problem refund flow, choose the charged app or subscription and submit the reason. Apple says eligibility varies by country or region and that a decision update normally appears after submission; Panda cannot promise or override Apple's billing outcome.
If the subscription is absent, search email for “receipt from Apple” or “invoice from Apple” and check every Apple Account used by the household. Apple says that if no Apple receipt exists, inspect the card statement to identify the company that billed you. Do not ask Apple to cancel a direct Panda web order merely because Panda is installed on an iPhone.
Use Google Play for a Play-billed Panda subscription
Sign in to the Google Account that received the order email, open Google Play subscriptions, select the matching subscription, choose Manage and cancel. Google's subscription instructions warn that uninstalling an app does not cancel billing. They also say access normally continues through the paid period after cancellation.
Use Google's separate refund-request workflow for the charged order. Google's current policy page says a request within 48 hours may be eligible depending on the purchase details; after 48 hours it directs users to the developer for troubleshooting and possible handling under policy and law. That is not a universal 48-hour guarantee or an automatic denial one minute later.
If the subscription is missing, switch among Google Accounts on the device and search for the Play order ID. A direct Panda Android purchase can exist outside Google Play. Our Panda mobile review explains the app's platform scope, but the receipt—not the operating system—still decides the payment route.
Retailer, reseller and prepaid Panda orders stay with that seller
A boxed code, marketplace purchase, ISP bundle or regional reseller can activate Panda without creating a direct recurring Panda order. Read the listing and receipt for term start, recurring status, return window and seller contact. A product appearing in My Panda proves entitlement, not who holds the payment.
Some keys simply expire and need no cancellation; others are attached to a retailer subscription. Do not assume “no card in My Panda” means no future billing because the retailer or wallet may hold the recurring agreement. Save the product key privately, but provide only the seller's order reference when opening a billing case unless the verified form specifically needs activation evidence.
If the key is region-locked, already used or invalid, preserve the seller listing, activation error and delivery timestamp before attempting a refund. The planned complete Panda uninstall guide will handle local removal after the transaction is settled; deleting files now will not improve the retailer claim.
PayPal or a wallet is a payment method, not always the seller
A PayPal, Apple Pay or bank-wallet entry can show the processor that moved the money while the receipt still identifies the merchant and order. Open the transaction inside the verified payment account and match its invoice reference, amount, currency and checkout email. Do not rely on a shortened bank descriptor that omits the product.
Revoking a wallet authorization can be a useful backstop when the documented merchant control fails, but it is not a clean substitute for cancelling the matching subscription. The merchant may still treat the order as active and generate payment reminders. Complete the seller route, preserve its confirmation, then verify that the wallet agreement reflects the same result.
Do not open a card dispute simply because support has not replied for a few hours. A chargeback can end the license and complicate an active refund. Use the issuer promptly for a genuinely unauthorized charge or after the merchant process has failed within the applicable dispute timeline, and describe the transaction accurately.
Separate a pending authorization from a duplicate charge
A pending line and a posted line for the same amount can be one transaction moving through the card system rather than two completed payments. Compare status, invoice reference, timestamp and currency. Ask the issuer how pending authorizations display, but do not let an applicable refund period expire while waiting for a vague statement line to settle.
For a real duplicate, collect both receipts or show that one invoice produced two posted debits. State which order and license should remain active. If one charge belongs to Apple and another to direct Panda, each seller controls its own transaction; there is no universal Panda switch that merges them.
Keep screenshots redacted. A public forum does not need a cardholder name, billing address, activation code or full statement. A concise packet with two amounts, two dates and two references is more useful to the seller than an unfiltered month of banking activity.
Treat an unknown Panda charge as identification before accusation
Search all household inboxes and ask authorized card users whether they bought or renewed the product. Match the amount and date against My Panda invoices, Apple receipts, Google Play order IDs and retailer records. A familiar product name can still belong to another family member's legitimate purchase.
If nobody recognizes it, lock or monitor the payment method as the issuer recommends and contact the merchant and issuer through independently verified channels. Preserve the exact descriptor, date, amount and currency. Do not call a telephone number embedded in a suspicious invoice or a search result, and never give a stranger remote access so they can “locate” the charge.
For US credit cards, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's billing-dispute overview explains the issuer process; other countries and payment methods differ. A bank dispute does not reliably disable a separate recurring subscription, so still document the seller's renewal state when the order can be identified.
Verify cancellation and refund as two separate outcomes
A useful cancellation confirmation names the product or order, says automatic renewal is off and shows the current paid-through date. A useful refund record names the charged transaction and says whether the request was received, approved, denied or completed. “Ticket opened” is not “money returned,” while “refund approved” is not proof that next year's renewal is disabled.
Sign out, return through the official account route and inspect the subscription again. Keep the confirmation email and calendar a check before the former renewal window. Since Panda says charges can occur about a month before expiry, checking only on the final day is too late for a clean prevention test.
After an approved refund, watch the original payment method for the credit. Panda's legal page says qualifying reimbursement is made within 14 days of written notice, but card posting can add time and other sellers use their own schedules. Do not publish the evidence or retain full payment details longer than the case requires.
Plan protection before the refunded license can end
Turning off renewal normally leaves the paid term active; Panda says so directly. A completed refund can end the entitlement earlier, so read the decision email and check the device list rather than assuming protection continues to the original expiry. Disconnecting a device from the account and refunding the order are different operations.
If Panda will be removed, choose one replacement real-time antivirus and confirm it is active after uninstall. Do not overlap two full suites for days because both can register filters, scans and web protection. The Windows Defender review covers the built-in fallback, while the planned Panda alternatives guide will compare stronger paid replacements against our current Panda Dome review.
If the refund request is driven by crashes or high CPU but the subscription is being kept, use the Panda troubleshooting guide instead of deleting components manually. Preserve error evidence for support. A technical failure can explain the request, but it does not alter the seller or complete the billing action.
Do not delete the Panda account until the money trail is closed
Account deletion is a privacy request, not a cancellation button. It can remove access to invoices, devices and support correspondence while a recurring agreement remains with a seller. Export the receipts and confirmations, settle the refund and release devices before starting a separate data request.
A current r/antivirus discussion about Panda account deletion shows a user unable to find a self-service route and being directed toward privacy contacts. That is directional community evidence, not an official deletion policy. Use Panda's current privacy or support channel and ask what billing, tax or fraud records must legally be retained.
Unsubscribing from marketing email is another separate control. If promotional messages continue, preserve the unsubscribe attempt and raise it through the privacy route without confusing it with product renewal. Closing one email stream does not change a paid Panda Dome subscription.
Panda cancellation searches are heavily polluted by support scams
Current results include user-uploaded PDFs on unrelated educational and organization domains plus forum posts that repeat phone numbers on nearly every line. They invent labels such as “My Subscriptions,” unsupported 14- or 60-day refund rules, an imaginary 15-day billing window and named payment processors without evidence. Do not call them or copy their steps.
Start from a typed pandasecurity.com address, the authenticated My Panda account, the genuine receipt, support.apple.com or support.google.com. Panda's legitimate pages may show region-dependent contact options and even third-party diagnosis services, so the safe boundary is not a remembered number. It is a session you independently initiated through the current official domain with a case you can verify.
No cancellation or refund requires gift cards, cryptocurrency, an overpayment return, remote-control software or reading a one-time bank code to an unsolicited caller. If a popup or “billing agent” already gained access, stop the financial conversation and use our fake Panda pop-up and support-scam recovery guide. Protect accounts and payment methods before continuing ordinary subscription cleanup.
Panda Dome cancellation and refund FAQ
How do I cancel a Panda Dome subscription bought from Panda?
Sign in at My Panda, open Products and Services, choose the product, select Manage product and use Cancel subscription under Subscription management. Panda says this online-purchase route stops future renewal charges, sends a confirmation email and leaves protection active through the period already paid. Save the email and verify the account status; cancellation does not refund an existing order.
Can I get a Panda Security refund within 30 days?
Panda's current support page says online purchases can be requested for refund within 30 days, while its legal return page states 30 days from receipt and lists exclusions for used support or technical-assistance products and the separately purchased Money-Back Guarantee service. Submit promptly through Panda Customer Service or the written route in the legal notice. App-store, retailer and reseller purchases follow their seller's rules.
Does cancelling Panda Dome refund an automatic renewal?
No. Panda explicitly says cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not refund the order. If a renewal has already posted, turn off the next renewal and submit a separate refund request for that transaction. Panda's current wording does not clearly promise that every renewal starts a fresh 30-day window, so ask for a written decision rather than assuming eligibility.
Why did Panda charge me before my subscription expired?
Panda's automatic-renewal help says it can charge the saved card about one month before expiration after prior notice. It also says the renewed service period begins when the old subscription expires, not on the early charge date. Check the receipt, renewal notice and My Panda dates; if you do not want the renewal, cancel and request review immediately.
Does uninstalling Panda Dome cancel the subscription?
No. Uninstalling changes software on one device, while cancellation changes the billing agreement. Save the receipt, disable renewal and submit any refund request before removing the app. Then uninstall Panda and confirm that another supported real-time antivirus is active if the Panda license will end.
How do I cancel Panda Dome billed by Apple?
If Apple issued the receipt, open Settings on the iPhone or iPad, tap your name, Subscriptions, select the subscription and tap Cancel Subscription. Use Apple's separate Report a Problem route for a refund request. If there is no Apple receipt or subscription entry, identify the company on the card statement instead of asking Apple to cancel a direct Panda order.
How do I cancel Panda Dome billed by Google Play?
Sign in to the Google Account that received the Play receipt, open Google Play subscriptions, select the subscription, choose Manage and cancel. Google warns that uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. Use Google's separate refund workflow for the charged order; eligibility depends on the transaction, timing, country and policy.
What if the Cancel subscription button is missing in My Panda?
Confirm that you opened the right product and account email, then inspect Invoices and Payments and the original receipt. Panda documents the My Panda control only for eligible online purchases. An Apple, Google Play, retailer, reseller or non-recurring order may not expose the same button. Contact the verified seller shown on the receipt and preserve the account screenshot.
How long does a Panda refund take?
Panda's legal return page says it reimburses within 14 days of receiving qualifying written notice and normally uses the original payment method. That is vendor wording, not a promise for Apple, Google Play or another retailer, and the card issuer can take additional time to post the credit. Keep the acknowledgment and check the seller's written status before counting the money as returned.
Should I call a Panda refund number found in Google?
No. Search results for Panda cancellation are heavily polluted by uploaded PDFs and forum posts that repeat unrelated phone numbers and invented billing rules. Start from pandasecurity.com, My Panda, the genuine receipt, Apple Support or Google Play Help. Never give an unsolicited caller remote access, a one-time code, a product key or payment by gift card or cryptocurrency.
Bottom line: follow the receipt and verify twice
For a direct online Panda order, use My Panda to turn off renewal and save the confirmation. If a charge already exists, submit it separately through Panda Customer Service within the applicable return terms. For an Apple, Google Play or retailer receipt, stay inside that seller's billing system instead of forcing the direct Panda steps onto another transaction.
Your final record should answer two independent questions: is the next renewal off, and what happened to the charge being reviewed? Only after both answers are documented should you uninstall Panda or request account deletion. That order preserves evidence, prevents another bill and leaves time to keep every device protected.
